![]() Danny and the Tramp has been nominated for a San Diego Music Award! Voted by a panel of music industry leaders, also known as The Academy, they have selected DNT's first full-length album to be a nominee in the category of "Best Rock Album of the Year". Paying dues as a cover band, it was the constant exposure to multiple genres and hit songs that allowed us to grow musically and develop a sound that our producer and engineer, Ben Moore, describes as: feel good rock ‘n’ roll. When we set our minds to the All In album, we wanted to make sure the energy and egos from our live performances were apparent in the music as well as the diverse sound that we were all exposed to. If we pulled it off correctly, All In is an album you can thoroughly enjoy listening to from beginning to end. We're super excited for this opportunity! It's great timing because our last show of the summer is this Thursday and it's being hosted by one of those panelists, Tim Pyles from 94/9! The last show will be held at Mary Jane's at the Hard Rock Hotel in Downtown San Diego. We would greatly appreciate the support this Thursday as we're headlining the night and some industry legends are watching (wink, wink).
