This all started when MTV contacted us in hopes of using our song, Chase That Bunny, on an upcoming episode of one of their most popular reality TV series, The Real World. Have you heard of it? Well, this season is entitled "Ex-plosion" in which the TV crew brings on the cast's exes in hopes of some drama to occur (I'm sure it won't). After going back and forth with them, we ended up signing the contract and agreed to let them use our songs. The first one should be coming up soon (after it goes through the 73 departments for approval) which then we will let everyone know when it's a go!
The most appealing part of what we get in return is publicity; which includes a section of their website and our name at the bottom of the TV screen whenever our songs play.
While this was exciting to us as a band, it also made us realize just how unready we were for a national spotlight. Right away, we began working merchandise and photos (shout outs to Dyno Brand, PromoVentures, Brock Smith Photography, Cliff Endsley and Casey Blatt) and planning for music videos. Our first music video venture is for Chase That Bunny and the shoot includes a crazy underground party. Think Masquerade Ball on E.
We have opened this part of the shoot up to our fans and friends. Weird masks, lace, artistic makeup, beads, leather fetish...whatever it may be, dress crazy and come have fun at the Aeroclub this Friday at 6:30PM! Indieverse Visual will be there getting the lighting right and recording the scenes.
If you're looking for something to do, come get wild with us and you can be in a music video which should receive national credit.
COME RECORD A MUSIC VIDEO WITH US!
Oh, and below is the song!
Now and then we think thoughts and write them here.
