$2,870.  That is the final dollar amount you all pledged to help us create our second album.  THANK YOU!  That is an amazing number – a number two times what we had originally asked for.  The final day of fundraising blew up in the last few hours.  We were seeing donations from old friends back on the east coast, awesome cats we’ve only ever hung out with a handful of times, and a number of loving family members.  One of our friends from Pennsylvania even made a donation of $500!  WHAT?!  I’m pretty sure he mistakenly typed in another “0″, but we’re still going to take the green!

We’d also like to thank everyone who shared this event with their friends/family/stalkers on facebook or mass messages.

You guys really amazed us!  We were skeptical when creating the page if anyone even going to donate. I think Danny even said, “I am skeptical if anyone is going to donate.” Exact quote. Money is probably the hardest thing to ask for from anybody (aside from asking for their soul…).  The extra dough will be such an asset as we look to have not only an engineer in the room with us, but also a producer.  The fundraiser has made us even more excited about the album and we’ve been writing songs like crazy!  How many songs will we have?  Who knows! 7, 8, 9, 10, 42, we don’t know!  But this money will help us spend more time in the recording studio and we truly appreciate it.
